MAC Membership


MAC’s mission is to strengthen the payment ecosystem through ongoing education, communication, and cooperation among its members, and we think that journey begins with anyone in the payments value chain. Our members include acquiring banks, ISOs, the card brands, NACHA, merchant monitoring vendors, law enforcement agencies, MSBs, lenders, payment processors, software and hardware vendors, security vendors, and payment facilitators. We encourage professionals from compliance, underwriting, risk, AML, security, PCI compliance vendors, IT, and customer support representatives to join MAC to help further our mission of a safe and secure payments ecosystem.

What will MAC do for you?
MAC is a platform created to facilitate communication between its members. Our core mission is to foster a communication environment that transcends competition. We do this by enabling a system that allows our members to communicate with each other and share information. Membership in MAC will provide industry best practices, current and evolving fraud trends, tips and tricks to help mitigate losses, and educational material. On a daily basis, our members share information about problematic merchants or accounts, trends they are experiencing, and emerging losses or fraud schemes. Members post articles on AML updates or trends, DOJ enforcement actions, FinCEN updates or enforcements, FTC actions or updates, security threats, and IT vulnerabilities and updates.

MAC is your definitive source for daily blasts of what is most important to the safety of your payments organization.

Acquiring Professionals

Risk, Underwriting, and Compliance professionals from any acquiring bank, savings and loan, credit union, third party processor, ISO/MSP, merchant acquirer, processor, law enforcement agency, gateway provider, internet service provider, etc.

What will MAC do for you?

MAC is here to assist its members with managing risk and preventing fraud by providing a communication channel to encourage ongoing networking, benchmarking, and information sharing among its members. Membership in MAC will provide you the value of sharing best practices, discussing current fraud trends, loss mitigations, and the opportunity to receive education materials and share information within your peer group. The daily communications from MAC will provide information about the industry. members will receive e-mails regarding suspicious or problematic merchants as well as articles and informations to help keep you up-to-date. MAC also provides networking opportunities not available anywhere else in the industry, member contact lists and access to the MAC website.
